Face Mask Operations Manager - CLOSED

We are hiring a part time operations manager to support our growing mask making business! In "normal life" we are a nutrition and health coaching company. When we saw the need for masks arrive we stepped up to answer the call. We now have 8 people sewing masks and we need admin help in order to continue growing!

The position is half in person and half work from home. The work requires approximately 15 hours per week and you get to set your own schedule. Compensation starts at $15-18/hour based on experience.

We are more interested in the results you achieve than in simply accomplishing tasks. The main result you will be responsible for achieving is to ship out beautiful face masks on time. 


To achieve this result you will need to:

  • Contract and onboard sewing contractors based on demand

  • Manage inventory of raw materials, supplies, and finished inventory

  • Manage online sales listings (Etsy)

  • Curate beautiful fabric patterns for customers to choose from

  • Ensure our contractors are producing consistently high quality masks 

  • Package orders and take them to the post office

  • Provide excellent customer service


You will be super successful in this position if you are:

  • A spreadsheet aficionado! The person who will love this job appreciates a good spreadsheet and gets excited about setting up complex formulas!

  • Proficient in the follow through. In this company we like to work more than we like talking about work. The person who excels in this position isn't afraid to be in action. 

  • Comfortable working alone. We work as a team - from a distance. All of the work will be done in your own home or at our storage unit where we keep supplies and inventory. 

  • Great with computers. Half of the job takes place online and you need to know how to use common computer programs or know how to learn how to use them. 

  • Able to read and follow directions. We are following social distancing orders so all of your training will occur through written processes and video. 

  • Have a printer and reliable transportation.
